TYPE OF ACTIVITY GROUP PRESENTATIONS
HOW TO START?
DAAC president as a facilitator -
- Briefly discuss the last week’s activity in your group.
- Decide the plan of action for presentations.
- Ask each group to discuss and fill the gaps if any, during recording the Audit sheet.
- Take your material and start the activity.
The time required 45-60 minutes
Material required Chart papers, colour pens, audit sheets, Computers (In case of Ppts)
GROUP ACTIVITY
1. As per group discussion and agreement, each group will compile the results of their Energy Audit
of the assigned area.
2. Each group will then prepare the presentation based on their analysis and observations.
3. Cover the following points in the presentation
a. Purpose of the activity “Energy Audit.”
b. Area assigned
c. Name of the group members
d. How did they conduct the whole activity brief description/flow chart of the process
e. Results table based on record sheet or observation
f. Our Learnings
4. Areas of improvement/suggestions to save energy (At least 5, but the group can come up with
more)
5. Display or present the findings in class.

CLOSURE AND PRE-PREPARATION FOR NEXT WEEK
President (DAAC) -Take prior permissions and approvals for the activity “Energy Conservation Policy.”
Discuss the requirement with DA teacher, take help in following tasks -
a. Selecting teachers and members for different committees (Draft committee, Monitoring Com-
mittee, etc.)
b. Permission from Principal about the Energy Conservation Policy
c. Getting a copy of the existing policy, if the school already has
d. Teachers to be involved in the committee of the draft policy
e. Decide the areas where the policy will be displayed
Vice President (DAAC)
Discuss next week’s plan and be prepared with the material required for the activity (Copies of Energy
Conservation policy of the school, if any, handout for drafting policy)
Secretary (DAAC) - Record the Minutes of meeting and take the signature of all the members present
Treasurer or Any Member (DAAC) - Prepare agenda and circulate among DAAC members and DA
teacher for the next week
